Google Play Music
Google Play Music reached out to RoAndCo shortly after the acquisition of Songza. The platform offered listeners free, curated music to amplify their everyday. To differentiate Google Play Music within the streaming landscape, we developed a campaign that places quotidian objects into surreal pairings, creating playfully evocative still-life compositions for each playlist. We also created original images to represent radio stations, which would become the hero of the campaign across both digital and print, with placements in magazines like Rolling Stone.
We developed a series of more than 100 playful illustrations to represent Google Play Music's curation of playlists. These assets were used both in-app and at campaign level.
